Hundreds gather in Rochester for NYCSC25!
New York’s charter school sector came together for learning and connection in Rochester for the 2025 New York Charter Schools Conference
ROCHESTER, NY (Oct. 15-17, 2025) — Public charter school leaders, decision makers, and partners from across New York State and beyond gathered in Rochester for the 2025 New York Charter Schools Conference.
It was the 7th year that the New York Charter Schools Association has hosted the only statewide gathering of New York’s charter school sector, offering in-depth learning sessions on the issues most important to our schools.
Using the insights gathered from our member schools, NYCSA worked to design the topics and programming of the 2025 conference to adapt to the needs our schools are facing right now. This included everything from curricula and innovative learning approaches, to finance, facilities, and administration issues.
As always, the conference was highlighted by the opportunities to connect and collaborate with fellow school leaders and partners. Our attendees form new relationships and widen their network to help address shared challenges and learn from fellow schools.

2025 Conference Highlights
Learning new ideas: Our attendees choose from dozens of learning sessions tailored to public charter school leaders and designed to bring the leading ideas to help address the most pressing needs at their schools.
Connecting with experts: Through Consultant Office Hours, all of our attendees had a chance to reserve a one-on-one conversation with consultants who have the expertise to address your biggest problem.
Building new relationships: Networking events throughout the conference schedule brought attendees together to digest what they’ve learned and collaborate to address shared challenges.
Innovating for the future: Opening Keynote Speaker Natasha Trivers, the Executive Director of The Broad Center at Yale, shared unique perspectives on leadership and the approaches that changed the lives of thousands of charter school students.
