I’m writing with two important updates from Governor Cuomo and the New York State Board of Regents.

During his daily address, the Governor announced that he will extend school closure through April 29. This is a part of an extension of the state’s PAUSE order, which also includes closure of businesses deemed non-essential.

At today’s New York State Board of Regents meeting, the Regents announced that the Spring Regents Examinations will be canceled.  The State Education Department will issue more guidance about this change tomorrow.  We will provide a full update from today’s Regents Meeting later today.

We will bring you updates about both of these items once they are available. For now, we encourage you to review the resources on our Coronavirus Resources page.

As always, please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
