Statement from Yomika Bennett on crisis in Turkiye and Syria

The following is a statement from NYCSA Executive Director Yomika Bennett:

“We are deeply saddened by the current crisis in Turkiye and Syria following yesterday’s devastating earthquake. Our thoughts are with those directly impacted by this tragedy as well as with the many members of the Turkish and Syrian community included in our charter school family. On behalf of NYCSA, we send our support and encouragement during this difficult time.”
