The annual New York Charter Schools Conference returns this October in Albany, NY. As we prepare event programming, we are looking for a wide range of engaging presentation topics and content that can appeal to a variety of stakeholders in the charter school community.
A hallmark of our conference has been the opportunity to share best practices and elevate unique content. This year, we are excited to have two opportunities for presenters to share their expertise with our conference participants:
Conference Breakout Sessions
On Thursday, October 19, we will have a full day of breakout sessions where we invite skilled practitioners, innovative thinkers, and charter school leaders and advocates to share their expertise. We want content that speaks to the varied audiences attending the conference including academic and operations leaders, board members, charter school family members, and public education advocates. If you have an interesting topic to present to a group, we want to hear about it.
You can submit your proposal to present using this form. Please note that due to a limited number of breakout sessions, not all proposals will be accepted to present. The call for proposals for conference breakout sessions will remain open until 5 p.m. on August 11. You will be notified of the status of your submission by the end of August.
Consulting Office Hours
For those interested in speaking with conference participants in a more individual, one-on-one setting, we are proud to offer an opportunity to host consulting office hours on Thursday, October 19 from 12:30-2 p.m. We invite those interested in sharing their expertise, services, or products for schools to sign up to offer a 20-minute consultation with conference participants.
You can submit your interest to host consulting office hour appointments using this form, which will remain open until 5 p.m. on August 11. Due to limited space, we may not be able to accept all requests to hold appointments but will notify the selected consultants by the end of August.
Presenters and consultants attend our conference free of charge and have exclusive access to attendees.
We look forward to reviewing your proposals and making offers by the end of August! In the meantime, if you have any questions regarding our 2023 conference, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
