In collaboration with the New York State Department of Health, on Friday, March 6th, 2020, the State Education Department released updated letters for school use. The letters can be found here.

Additionally, the New York Department of Health and State Education Departement hosted a Webinar on Saturday, February 7, 2020, providing schools with protocols to follow to limit the spread of germs. You can access the webinar here.

Finally, during his Novel Coronavirus (COVID – 19) press conference today, Governor Cuomo announced his plan to provide schools with hand sanitizer produced by the state. He also announced that schools will be closed for a 24-hour period if a student tests positive for Coronavirus.
